Inquiry #2: Per page 90 of the Specials, it states the contractor will deliver and pick-up the boxes to the Caltrans test facility. Where would that be?

Also, the distributor for the for the React 9SCBS (Traffic /control Services), Page 86 of the Specials, is out of business. Please provide another source.

Inquiry #4: May the salvaged k-rail from Bid Item 14 be used for Temporary k-rail Bid Item 8, prior to delivering to Caltrans?

Response #1:Yes, Contractor may use the salvaged K-rail from Bid Item for temporary use before delivering to Caltrans provided the standard/quality/condition of salvaged K-rail conforms with regular K-rail standard.

Inquiry #5: 1-Ref Plan Sheet 3, and Plan Sheet 10 (C-9)- Please confirm that you require these special galvanized channel closure assembly at only two locations shown on sheet 3 of 61.

Inquiry #6: On the ROADWAY QUANTITIES chart on Plan sheet 27 of 61, at Location 10 it shows the need for 156 ton of asphalt. Based on this and the limited info on Plan Sheet 6 of 61, I can't figure out where it would go. Would you clarify where it would go, or is it a typo?

Response #1:The limits of Minor Asphalt is shown under 1 at plan C-5,at sheet # 6 of 61. Refer note 1 and the construction detail of this Minor Asphalt in plan C-6 at sheet # 7 of 61.

Inquiry #7: TRAFFIC HANDLING QUANTITIES chart on Plan Sheet 20 of 61 shows Location 10 gets 500' (25 sticks) of K-rail.
TRAFFIC HANDLING PLAN, Plan Sheet 21 shows 1,480' (74 sticks).
Please clarify length needed.
