2017 California Transportation Planning Conference

Partnering for Sustainable Transportation: Meeting the Challenge Now and Into the Future

This three-day conference will provide attendees the opportunity to interact with transportation practitioners and decision-makers, exchange ideas and learn about emerging technologies and advancements in transportation planning from national, state, and local experts. The conference will focus on themes around sustainability and how we can partner to meet the challenges facing us now and into the future as required by federal and state legislation and influences by funding constraints.

Getting there:
The Walnut Creek Marriott is located at the intersection of North Main Street and Parkside Drive. It can be easily accessed from I-680 Freeway or Highway 24 by taking the North Main Street exit. The hotel is also walking distance from the Walnut Creek BART Station, which provides train service throughout the Bay Area.

- BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

From San Francisco International Airport: The BART Station is located in the International Terminal. There’s a free AirTrain to the BART Station from Terminals 1, 2, and 3. Take the Pittsburg/Bay Point train, and exit at the Walnut Creek BART Station. 

From Oakland International Airport: Take the AirBART shuttle service to the Coliseum BART station. At the Coliseum Station take the Richmond train. Transfer at the Oakland City Center/12th Street station to the Pittsburg/Bay Point train. Exit at the Walnut Creek BART Station.
