SER Web Site Considerations
This site adheres to the current required standard for accessibility required by the California Department of Transportation:
"All Caltrans intranet and internet pages must comply with the Priority 1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium
and are strongly encouraged to meet the priority 2 and 3 guidelines as well."
The SER web site consists of two major
components: web page templates and content. The templates
control the layout or "look-and-feel" of the site. The SER
uses the
required State of California web site templates,
which have their own accessibility
standards. ![]()
The content of the site is comprised of web page content and download-able documents. All web page content meets the minimum standards for Caltrans (above).
Links to web sites outside the SER are
identified with the
icon. Although the SER editors make every effort to ensure
the accuracy of the SER, we cannot be responsible for the
content of sites that are linked from the SER.
Downloaded Publications
Most downloadable content is provided in at least two file formats: Portable Document Format (PDF) and plain-text. Some files are also available in Word and Excel formats.
Links to download-able files state the
file format and size. For example:
