Objective
The objectives of this project are to design, fabricate, install, test, and monitor a new type of permanent reusable foundation system which will enable sign maintenance crews to remove and replace knocked down 89mm x 89mm (4" x 4") or 89mm x 140mm (4" x 6") wood sign post stubs in 10 minutes or less. Finally, the successfully tested systems will be adopted for statewide use in California.
