Park and Ride Lots

2016 California Park and Ride Lots

This point feature class is created to show locations of Commuter Park and Ride lots in California state highway system.

Last Modified: September 5, 2017

California Managed Lanes comprise of HOV Lanes, Express Lanes and Park and Ride facilities. Park and ride lots provide a location for individuals to park their vehicles to join carpools and to access bus and rail services, thereby taking vehicles off local streets and roads and the State Highway System (SHS).

This feature class is a point feature class representing park and ride lots 'administered' by California Department of Transportation, derived from Park & Ride Inventory excel spreadsheet (dated 01/28/2016) maintained by Caltrans, Division of Traffic Operations, Office of System Management Operations.
