A MEMO dated July 31,2000 clarifies the Policy on High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) Preferential Lanes
Chapter One, Section J requires notification of CHP during the
Project Report stage to discuss enforcement issues and gives the CHP an opportunity to review enforcement pad design.
Figures 4 and 5 now only require a width of 4.6 m for
enforcement area.
