2006 Proposition 1B Bond, and Economic Stimulus (Recovery Act) Funding Sign Specifications

BACKGROUND The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has developed a non-standard general sign specification for use in Proposition 1B bond funding projects. Project signs will be contractor-furnished in a PS&E.

On all State highway projects funded under the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009, funding signs will be included in the PS&E.  For these projects, funding signs will be installed downstream of Proposition 1B funding signs, or, construction funding identification signs under Standard Plan T7 if funding is also a part of the project.
