California Traffic Control Devices Committee

July 2, 2015 UPDATE: The California Traffic Control Devices Committee (CTCDC) is the means by which the Department fulfills its obligation to consult with local agencies and the public before adopting rules and regulations prescribing uniform standards and specifications for all official traffic control devices used in California.  Recently, Non-Motorized Member Mr. John Ciccarelli left the CTCDC, and Alternate Member Daniel Anthony Gutierrez is moving into that Voting Member position.

Thus, nominations are currently being accepted for a CTCDC Alternate Member, Non-Motorized.   The Alternate Member serves at the CTCDC meetings when Mr. Gutierrez is not able to attend.
The nominated individual must demonstrate knowledge of and/or experience with pedestrian and bicycle standards and facilities.  Interested parties should submit resumes and any other relevant material that demonstrates their experience to duper.tong@dot.ca.gov and devinder.singh@dot.ca.gov via email by July 31, 2015.

Any questions can be directed to Duper Tong, (916) 654-5176, or Devinder Singh (916) 654-4715.
