Caltrans is transitioning back to producing projects with U.S. Customary Units (English) , which include the U.S. Survey Foot. During the transition period some projects will go to completion with Metric Units while others will be produced with English Units. During the transition period the Land Surveys' Interim Guidelines will be used for surveying products based on the English Unit.
