State Transit Program supports local and regional public transportation agencies by administering transit ferry and rail improvement projects in a timely and effective manner. This includes processing requests for the California Transportation Commission funding and programming actions related to transit projects programmed in the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), Traffic Congestion Relief Program (TCRP) and Proposition 116 Program. State Transit also executes and administers the Master Agreements, Program Supplements and fund transfer agreements for those state-funded transit projects.
