The State Transit Program supports state, local and regional public transportation agencies by administering transit, ferry and rail projects under state funding improvement programs. Programs managed by this Office are: The mass transportation components of the State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), Traffic Congestion Relief Program (TCRP), Proposition 116 Bond Program, Proposition 1B State-Local Partnership Bond Program, and Proposition 1A Commuter and Urban Rail High-Speed Train Connectivity Bond Program. Our core responsibilities include processing requests for California Transportation Commission action, and execution and administration of Master Agreements, Program Supplements and Fund Transfer Agreements.
