Local Assistance Program Guidelines--LAPG

A collection of the various guidelines and instructions that have been published for the state and federal programs available for financing local public transportation projects. The topics discussed under each program include, but are not limited to: project eligibility requirements, project selection process, funding levels, key decision makers, special processing requirements, critical implementation dates, and relevant references.

Please be aware of revisions to the content of specific chapters, according to the LPPs referenced below. The LPPs are made available for historical reference and download of inserts for existing hard copies of the Guidelines (originally released in February 1998 and reissued in January, 2006). The Publication Distribution Unit has been supplied with the updated LAPG incorporating the most recent LPPs issued.

The Local Assistance Program Guidelines may be obtained in three ways:

There is no charge for downloading manuals. Downloaded manuals, and their parts, may be printed and distributed; however, their content may not be altered in any way.
