Q1) What is the approximate length, sizes and pipe-type to be installed by CIPP?
A1) There are various length, and size of pipes in this project from 43' to 103' length and from 24" Dia to Arch 30"x18" Dia. The existing pipes are Corrugated Metal Pipes, Please see the plans for the detail.
Q2) What is the cost estimate on this project.
A2) Please refer to "Notice To Bidders" for answer. It shows $310,000.
Q3) Can anything be done to make bid item #8 considered as specialty work? Given the scope of work and overall size of the project it really doesn't make sense as it stands now.
A3) No, please bid per contract document.
Q4) Please provide information or drawings that would detail the shape and dimensions of the 30" x 18" arch pipe when the pipe is viewed in cross section. Is the pipe a horseshoe shape with a flat or semi-flat bottom, or is it an oval? Is the pipe diameter 30" vertically & 18" horizontally, or is it the other way around? This information is needed to adequately design and size the needed CIPP for this bid.
