Map Factsheet Contact Us

The Project
Caltrans will do extensive paving work on Highway 37 in Solano County for approximately two weeks to repair the roadway which has deteriorated over time.

What to Expect
For the safety of workers and the traveling public, eastbound and westbound Highway 37 is scheduled to be closed between the Walnut Avenue Exit in Vallejo and Highway 121 for two full weekends and five weekday nights in September. During the work, Highway 37 between Highway 29 and Walnut Avenue will be for local traffic only. Motorists may experience 15-45 minute delays depending on their destination.

Detour Routes (when scheduled closures are in effect)
Westbound Highway 37-Detour starts at Highway 37/Highway 29 Interchange. During Highway 37 closures, westbound Highway 37 motorists should use northbound Highway 29, then southbound Highway 121, and re-enter Highway 37 at the Highway 121/Highway 37 Interchange.

Eastbound Highway 37-Detour starts at Highway 37/Highway 121 Interchange. During Highway 37 closures, eastbound Highway 37 motorists should use northbound Highway 121, then southbound Highway 29, then re-enter eastbound Highway 37.

From San Francisco and Marin, motorists headed to Sonoma County are advised to use northbound 101 to eastbound State Route 116 when closures are in effect.
