Starting this Monday evening, Highway 4 will be closed overnight from Interstate 80 to Cummings Skyway, Caltrans officials announced today.

The closure hours will be from 10pm to 5am, every night from June 18th until June 22nd.

The closure is part of an ongoing project to expand Highway 4 from two lanes to four in that area. Traffic will be detoured to Cummings Skyway. Detours will be clearly marked, and signs will be placed along the route to guide motorists through the detour.
