Caltrans construction crews, will be closing westbound Route 4 at Cummings Skyway and traffic will be detoured via the westbound Cummings Skyway off-ramp and on-ramp, for the purpose of roadway excavation and grinding.

Starting on Monday night, December 11^th, and continuing through Saturday night, December 16^th, westbound traffic will be detoured off and back onto Route 4 via the Cummings Skyway ramps between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m., weather permitting.

Changeable message signs will give motorists advance warning and detour signs will direct the westbound traffic around the work.
