A small maintenance crew will staff the Operations & Maintenance Center to ensure safe operation of the tunnel and carry out routine maintenance tasks. An earthen berm surrounds most of the building and it has a vegetation-covered roof. These elements will ensure the facility blends into its natural surroundings.
