Toll Bridge Restoration

OFFICE OF TOLL BRIDGE RESTORATION DOCUMENTATION PROJECT This new office in District 4 has the responsibility to record and document several huge Bay Area Toll Bridge projects. These include the new East Spans Bay Bridge replacement, the New Carquinez Bridge, the new Benicia-Martinez Bridge, the retrofit of the Richmond San Rafael Bridge, the West Spans Bay Bridge retrofit and the West Approach to the Bay Bridge replacement in San Francisco. This work will consist of video taping, photography, books, record archiving, news reports and more.

The Photography section is under this Office, providing documentation on all construction activities in the District, legal services and images to private newspapers and magazines.

This Office also oversees the District Internet site, updating and enhancing the information for public access to Caltrans, District 4 activities.
