280 PCC Pavement Replacement and Grinding Project

The work involved in this project consists of:

Replacing damaged PCC pavement (saw cutting and removing concrete section). The removed PCC sections shall be replaced by Rapid Strength Concrete. Then, the entire PCC surface will be grinded.

Ramps shall be grinded and replaced with Rubberized Asphalt Concrete.

Section of the shoulder shall be removed and replaced.

These operations will generate noise levels that will affect the residents in the areas of the immediate work.

All work shall be performed at night beginning with saw cutting operation in the NB direction on September 4, 2008. The entirety of the project is 120 days and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
