Work to clear vegetation and trees in the creek started on Tuesday, February 3, while
the bridge construction is slated to start in mid-June, 2009. Soil nail wall construction
will start in mid-March, 2009.
The project is scheduled for completion by early winter 2011. The scope of work
includes replacing the Uvas Creek Bridge and realigning the roadway as well as
drainage improvements.
The construction will be performed Monday’s through Friday’s between 6 a.m. and 4
p.m, weather permitting.
Construction area signs will be in place to alert traffic passing through the area of
ongoing work.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area and please “Slow
For The Cone Zone.”
