Pavement Rehab Project on SR-67 to Begin Construction
SAN DIEGO – A project to rehabilitate the pavement on the main lanes, shoulders and ramps on State Route 67 from Interstate 8 to the San Diego River Bridge north of Mapleview Street is scheduled to begin Monday. The work will also include installation of new guardrail and concrete barrier.
Travelers can expect to see construction signs placed in advance of the work. The initial work will be to replace and install new guardrail. Construction work requiring nighttime lane closures is expected to begin in May.
Motorists are advised to slow and move over a lane when safe to do so whenever highway workers are present with flashing amber lights on their vehicles. It’s the Law!
