Southbound SR-163 Connector to Eastbound I-8 Closed Sunday Morning
SAN DIEGO –The southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector ramp to eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) will be closed for guardrail repairs Sunday morning from 3-9, according to Caltrans.
Maintenance crews will post detour signs directing travelers to continue southbound on SR-163 to WB I-8, take the Taylor Street off-ramp; continue to the eastbound I-8 on-ramp from Taylor Street.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
