Caltrans Reschedules Public Auction For Former Office Complex

SAN DIEGO – A public auction to sell the California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) former Office Complex in Old Town San Diego next week has been rescheduled. The new date is Thursday, Feb. 23.

Caltrans changed the auction date from Jan. 25 to Feb. 23 in an effort to gain more exposure for the sale and attract additional bidders. Another open house will be announced soon.

The former Office Complex consists of three major buildings totaling 115,735 square feet and sitting on a nearly 2.5-acre rectangular commercial property at 2829 Juan Street in Old Town San Diego.

The public auction on Feb. 23 will take place at the current Caltrans Office Complex at 4050 Taylor Street, with registration at 1 p.m. and bidding at 2 p.m.
