Connector Closed Thursday Morning Northbound State Route 163 to Westbound Interstate 8
SAN DIEGO – The northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector ramp to westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) will be closed along with the northbound SR-163 off-ramp to Friars Roads Thursday morning from 9 until Noon, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The closures are needed to safely conduct required repairs on the bridges. Detour signs will be posted to assist motorists around the closures.
Caltrans asks motorists to use caution, slow down and move over when highway workers are present.
