Southbound SR-75 Closed to One Lane

SAN DIEGO – Southbound State Route 75 near the Hotel Del Coronado is closed to one lane due to a police investigation, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).  Major traffic delays are expected.

The Coronado Police Department is handling the investigation and anticipates the closure will continue through the evening commute.  Caltrans is recommending motorists on the island to use the San Diego-Coronado Bridge instead of Silver Strand Boulevard.
