Interstate 8 Connector to State Route 163 Closed Thursday Morning
SAN DIEGO – The connector ramp from westbound Interstate 8 to northbound State Route 163 will be closed on Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Crews will clean the drains along the connector during the two-hour closure.
Motorists traveling westbound I-8 may exit Taylor Street/Hotel Circle North, turn right on Taylor Street, take the eastbound I-8 on-ramp and proceed to northbound SR-163.
Alternatively, motorists may take the connector to northbound I-805 and proceed to northbound SR-163.
