I-15/SR-52 Connector Closures on Saturday

SAN DIEGO – The southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) connector to eastbound State Route 52 (SR-52) will be closed between 6-10 a.m. along with a second connector closure at westbound SR-52 to southbound I-15 from 5-9 a.m. on Saturday, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).

The closures are needed to allow crews to safely perform needed guardrail repairs.

Drivers traveling southbound on I-15 will be detoured to Clairemont Mesa Boulevard to northbound I-15 to westbound SR-52.

Drivers traveling westbound SR-52 will be detoured to Convoy Street, to eastbound SR-52 to southbound I-15.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when they see Caltrans or other emergency vehicles displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
