Caltrans Seeking Public Opinion on Proposed SR-94 Project
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is holding a public scoping meeting for a proposed project to build High Occupancy (HOV) /Bus Rapid Transit Lanes (BRT) on State Route 94 (SR-94) between Interstate 5 (I-5) and I-805. The meeting will be Wednesday at Sherman Height Community Center, 2258 Island Drive, from 5-8 p.m.
The meeting is open-house-style to solicit public input and discuss the proposed project features and its potential environmental impacts. The public is encouraged to attend and discuss questions and concerns with engineers, noise and traffic specialists and property agents. There will be several draft displays showing what is being proposed. Spanish language interpreters will be available. Written comments can be made in both English and Spanish or verbal comment will be accepted for those wishing to use the provided court reporter.
