Westbound SR-52 Closed Monday Night from I-805 to Genesee Avenue

SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be closing westbound State Route 52 (SR-52) between Interstate 805 (I-805) and Genesee Avenue on Monday night from 10 until 5 Tuesday morning for bridge work.

Motorists westbound on SR-52 will be detoured via northbound I-805 to westbound Governor Drive, then southbound on Genesee Avenue to westbound SR-52. Motorists on I-805 will also be detoured via Governor Drive and Genesee Avenue for access to westbound SR-52.

Signs will be placed to alert motorists and assist them around the closure.
