Rancho Peñasquitos Boulevard Ramp to Southbound Interstate 15 Closed for the Weekend
SAN DIEGO – The on-ramp from eastbound Rancho Peñasquitos Boulevard to southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed Friday at 10 p.m. and reopen Monday at 5 a.m. weather permitting, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Motorists traveling east on Rancho Peñasquitos to southbound I-15 will be detoured to north on I-15 to west on State Route 56/Ted Williams Parkway onto southbound I-15. Detour signs will be posted to direct motorists around the closure.
This weekend closure is necessary to pave the ramps without disrupting the weekday commute. This work is part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project.
