Work Continues on State Route 67 With Full Freeway Closure
SAN DIEGO – Ongoing work on State Route 67 will require a full highway closure at Magnolia/Prospect avenues. Crews will close the southbound and northbound lanes Sunday, Monday and Thursday nights at 9.p.m. and re-open the lanes at 5 a.m. the following morning. The southbound Magnolia/Prospect Avenue on-ramp will remain open during the closure.
According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the closures are needed while crews deliver and place forms for the bridge columns that are being constructed as part of the SR-52 Sunny Side Gateway project.
Detour signs will be placed to assist motorists around the closures.
