Northbound Interstate 15 On-ramp from Miramar Road Closed for the Weekend
SAN DIEGO – The northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) on-ramp from eastbound Miramar Road and partial northbound I-15 lanes between Miramar Way and Carroll Canyon Road will be closed on Friday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. and again on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
To travel north on I-15 from eastbound Miramar Road, motorists will detour to southbound I-15 from Miramar Road to east on Miramar Way onto northbound I-15. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
This closure is necessary to complete the reconstruction of the northbound on-ramp from westbound Miramar Road/Pomerado Road as part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project. Construction will take place over the weekend to reduce impacts to the weekday commute.
