BIDDER'S INQUIRY FORMAT

Inquiry No.
Inquiry
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Lump Sum, Data sheet 2 of 16.

Project Data Sheet 2 of 16.  Office Bldg. is listed as 178.37 M2, that is the size of the Canopy.  The office Bldg. is 33.17 M2. Also shape of Canopy on Sheet 2 of 16 shows the same profile as roof of bldg. instead of square shape as on 4 of 16 of canopy roof line.

  • As shown in the plans.
2
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Lump Sum, Data sheet 2 of 16.

Electrical as built sheets 15, and 16 of 16 are not very good copies, they will not copy for subcontractors bids.

  • The as-built plans provided are the best copies available.
 3
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Lump Sum, Bldg. addition. Plan Sheet 14, 15, 16 of 16. Page 77 Specials Division 4 Masonary(Blank)

Is the addition an as-built and already existing? Are we placing a new heat pump, and re-wiring the old one? Note #7 Sheet 16 of 16 What "modified schematic" for truck scales? Where is the Electrical Section in Special Provisions?  Do we install and provide new monitors or cameras?  What are they? If all of Electrical is existing and not part of the job, why are they included? Are there overhead lines to be moved and replaced? Any electrical to the canopy? I can not find a State Furnished Materials Section.

  • The as-builts are for information only and there are no State furnished materials.
 4
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Plan Sheet 9 of 16  Steel Beams for canopy.  1.12 Conversion of Non-metric Materials and Supplies. Page 63 to 69

There is no chart for I beams.  Can I place imported steel?  What are the American size of the beams?

  • No, bid as shown in the plans and specials.
 5
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Plan Sheet 16 of 16.  U-4 Electrical as built.

Do the notes apply to our job or the old job?  Will we be required to move all the conduit, as it appears to be in the CIDH and beam placement.  There are no measurements on the As-builts where they put the conduit. Will that be made clear because it is a substantial bid item to move and replace the electrical access for the building.

  • DISCLAIMER- As-built plans are for information only and approximate location of underground utilities, these drawings are submitted as information only and are not to be used for any new work not described as scope for this project.
 6
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Plan Sheet 4 of 16

What is the unit of measurement for the 86 as shown "W310 X 86"?

  • KG/M
