 Q:02/09/07
R:02/21/07
Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Plan sheets 24,27,28, traffic handling
plans: The planned location of the temporary K-rail very effectively
prevents access to the work behind the K-rail closure.  The offset from the
ETW allows less than 6' of horizontal clearance between the inside of the
K-rail and the existing bridge rail.  There are no construction vehicles
suitable for the planned work that can fit between these two obstacles.

Question=What divergence from the planned layout is permissible in order to
gain access to the work area?
  • None.
