Contract,
but reserves the right to not answer any questions deemed
unsatisfactory
for public viewing.

Reference=10-1.02 MATERIAL CONTAINING LEAD Question=The plans do not show limits of removal. What conditions apply to placing the material onsite. If onsite burial is not permitted, what requirements apply to off-haul and disposal. We were not given a Information Handout with test results and minimum concentrations that require removal. Typically this work has a pay item with anticipated qty's , special directions, limits of removal, and location of burial in the plans and specifications. Please clarify.

Reference=Special Provisions, Section 5-1.19, Migratory Birds, states "Prior to the migratory bird nesting season of February 1 through August 31, vegetation mowing and tree removal...shall be completed..." Question=With a bid date of 12/14/06, given the normal time factors for award, return, approval, submission of WPCP, rejection of first submission of WPCP, (THEY ARE NEVER NEVER NEVER APPROVED UPON FIRST SUBMITTAL), revisions to WPCP and resubmittal, either conditional or final approval of the WPCP, and the normal prohibition of such work as clearing and grubbing before such approval, there is no way to conform to the above referenced section 5-1.19. It would seem that this would mean that the job would be put in suspension What can you do to assure a bidder that you can and will accelerate this process or allow the clearing to proceed while the WPCP is being honed to perfection, as determined by the reviewers?
