Plan Sheet / Specification Reference=Item 15 Screenings

Question=Will kick bromms be allowed when removing excess sreenings or are pick up brooms going to be required (within the ESA)

  • Pick-up brooms have to be used through the entire project, due to the ESAs.
  • A kick broom type sweeper is allowable within the entire project limits where the area is defined as an ESA. At the (3) three San Felipe Creek Bridge locations the sweeping of material to the side must stop 50 M (150') from the bridge. The material generated from the bridge areas can be picked up and distributed evenly 50 M prior or after the Creek area.
