the needs of the Contractors who bid on our Projects. Caltrans District
11 Construction Department will post all of the questions submitted by
any of the contractors that are registered Planholders for that
Contract,
but reserves the right to not answer any questions deemed
unsatisfactory
for public viewing.

& RESPONSES will be updated continuously and all attempts will be
made
to do the final posting by 15:00 on Wednesday prior to the bid opening.

The only mention is an "End Conc Barrier(Type 60S Mod)notation at Sta 18+79.9 on the "SD-76" Line on sheet L-3 of the plans. All other notations on the layout sheets just refer to "Conc Barrier Type (60S)" or to "Conc Barrier Type (60SC)".

Please advise to specification to be used, the existing concrete footing size of fence and if the footings have to be removed for the reconstruct of the fence.

Will an alternate mounting detail be permitted in lieu of the costly and time consuming detail shown on your plan sheet 71? 2- Define the length of the added # 13 longitudinal rebar that is shown on the anchorage detail, between the anchor bolts.
