Caltrans District 11 Construction Department serves the transportation needs of San Diego and Imperial Counties.There are 67 Projects totalling over $591 Million of Highway Contracts currently under construction in District 11.
The Division Chief for District 11's Construction Department is Richard Hopkins. He oversees 11 Senior Construction Engineers, 25 Resident Engineers, 42 Surveyors and approximatly 160 Employees.
District 11's Structures Department is headed by Dennis Wilder. He has 3 Senior Structural Engineers, 7 Structural Representatives and approximately 30 employees under his supervision.
