The Materials Lab is a team of Engineers and Technicians dedicated to the vision of providing Caltrans with the highest quality Engineering, Independent Assurance and Laboratory Testing. Our Mission is to ensure that Caltrans receives the highest quality materials, service and workmanship in building and maintaining California's roads. We strive to enhance the expertise of our lab personnel while improving the effectiveness of products, information, and service. We work to communicate effectively and be conscientious stewards of public resources.
