Entire Affected Area Map - Now Open!
Since late November, heavy rains and high surf along Pacific Coast Highway (SR-1) caused mud and debris to slide down from the May 2013 Springs Fire burn area to slide across and block the highway. The mud and debris quickly filled debris basins, blocked storm drains, and have caused washout in sections along SR-1 between Las Posas Road and Yerba Buena Road.
