LETTER FROM THE PUBLIC: PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY RESURFACING
This letter was addressed to Sixto Ramin, Resident Engineer, Construction, West Los Angeles.
I just wanted to thank you, on behalf of the hundreds, possibly thousands of cyclists who ride on PCH (Pacific Coast Highway). You and your crew have done a fantastic job resurfacing PCH, just like you did on Topanga Canyon. The net effect, in addition to making the road safer, is that all the traffic seems to be calmer, which is better for all of us. Also, the addition to the shoulder at the Bel Air Bay Club is a real lifesaver. It is wonderful to be able to finish our rides safely, without having to battle the cars for space in the lane. Again, thanks for all the great work. I am sure that it will save lives in the future.
