What's New

On March 22, 2006 the Prunedale Improvement Project was approved, meaning the project is ready to move forward with acquisition of property needed for the project. This next stage also includes the detailed design phase (Project Specifications & Estimates) with project construction now expected to begin in mid-2009.

The draft document was publicly noticed Saturday May 21, 2005, and was circulated for comments until July 7, 2005. A Public Hearing was held June 23, 2005 at the North Monterey County High School in Castroville. All comments received during this comment period are included, and have been responded to, in the final environmental document, Volume II.
