Salinas Road Interchange

Phase 2 of the Salinas Rd. Detour is scheduled to open to the public on the night of August 22. This detour will move northbound HWY 1 traffic on a detour road, along with the southbound traffic. This means both northbound and southbound traffic on HWY 1 will not have access to Salinas Road and will have to use the posted Hwy 129 detour to access Salinas Road. Salinas Road detours will be clearly marked with signs. This detour is expected to be in place for 1 – 2 weeks. There will also be reverse traffic control on Hwy 1 between Moss Landing and Trafton Road on the night of the August 22. Motorists should expect delays of up to 15 minutes. Upon completion of the second phase of the detour, both southbound and northbound traffic will have access to Salinas Road using the Salinas Road detour.
