One-Way Traffic Control Next Week
ALPINE COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route-89 (SR-89) for maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:
STATE ROUTE 89
- One-way traffic control from the East Carson River Bridge to the State Route 4 / SR-89 junction for drainage work beginning Monday, May 6, through Friday, May 10, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
