Modes of Operation

Graph Mode

All detectors can be graphed side by side across a range of time scales. Below we’ve auto advanced to the trailing edge of a detection event for the lane 1 downstream detector, which the lane 1 vehicle has just finished crossing over.

This QuickTime clip of VideoSync shows typical operation of video playing in sync with the detection data.

Ground Truth Vehicle Addition Mode

The speed, length, and picture of individual vehicles can be captured from the video. This data is stored in a data structure which can be used to “ground truth” the detectors.

Ground Truth Vehicle Review Mode

The speed, length, and picture of individual vehicles can be reviewed and located back in the original video. The exact time the real vehicle is over any detection zone can be determined.

Tabular Mode

Conventional Speed, Volume, and Occupancy can be tabulated in 30 second or other time intervals. The time offset can be adjusted to exactly match that used by the TMC. Tabular data can be exported to a spreadsheet or database for further analysis.
