Task Description
To develop a GPS unit for the use in longitudinal household travel behavior survey conducted by Caltrans. In preparation for the 2010 Statewide Travel Behavior Survey.
Task Objective
To develop and implement a GPS travel surveying system capable of providing accurate data at half the cost of traditional diary survey methods. Longitudinal survey methods will be applied as opposed to cross sectional methods in order to understand travel patterns.
