Task Description
Various TSP strategies have shown benefits including improved schedule adherence and reduced bus travel time, leading to improved transit quality of service, increased ridership, and reduced congestion. This project addresses the key issues regarding design, deployment and operation of TSP across the nation, enabling transit agencies to deploy TSP effectively to make transit a more practical option. This project is a national effort led by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
Task Objective
To address and overcome issues in TSP implementation and development; To develop enhanced control strategies and modeling tools; To Provide guidelines and recommendations in TSP implementation and deployment.
