The Amtrak Motor Coach stop in Claremont is located at the Metrolink Commute Train station, at 200 West First Street, just east of Indian Hill Boulevard. Recently completed I-210 in north Claremont or I-10 south of the station provide easy access to this station via Towne Avenue.
The station is not staffed by Amtrak, therefore passengers can not buy Amtrak tickets at this station, check baggage or ship package express. The closest station offering those services is Los Angeles. Wait for the Amtrak California buses at the transit shelter on First Street in front of the Station. There is no sign posted in the shelter, as Claremont does not permit Amtrak to post a sign. There IS an infopost schedule inside the Transit Center in the station.

Work is now complete on the second track and platform for Metrolink.
Foothill Transit Routes 187, 189, 190, 292, 294, 480, 492, and 690 serve the Claremont Station. Routes 188/189 connect to the recently opened Gold Line Light Rail Line at the Sierra Madre Villa Station. For more information, visit the Foothill Transit web site.
