San Joaquin trains are equipped with California locomotives and cars. California Cars consist of coach seating cars, combination coach/baggage cars, and diner/lounges.
San Joaquin trains offer complete over-the-counter tray meals, as well as snacks, beverages and sandwiches available for an extra charge in the diner/lounge. Telephones are available on board. Bicycles may be carried on California Car trains. Checked baggage is available on all trains between staffed stations. Seats recline.BART tickets may be purchased aboard the San Joaquins from the lounge car attendant.
Pacific Surfliner
Pacific Surfliners operate with high-level Pacific Surfliner equipment on most trains. Car types include coach seating cars, combination coach/baggage cars, and diner/lounges.
