SACRAMENTO – Caltrans is testing an innovative safety system that may help deter wrong-way drivers and alert authorities when incidents occur. In this Caltrans News Flash, Caltrans shows some of the safety components of a two-year pilot project that is underway in Sacramento and San Diego. Caltrans is evaluating these new countermeasures in hopes of reducing the number of wrong-way collisions.
