OAKLAND – In this latest Caltrans News Flash, we get a behind-the-scenes look as construction crews remove huge pieces of steel from the old east span of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Motorists driving by, along with bicyclists and pedestrians on the bike path of the new Bay Bridge, continue to marvel at the progress of the demolition.
